Regular inspection and maintenance of your RFloXa fork accessories help extend the service life of your setup while ensuring riding safety. Here are some of our maintenance suggestions:
1. Regularly check the bolts on the triple clamp
Frequency: After riding for more than 10 hours or following extreme riding.
Points: Bolts on the upper clamp, lower clamp, and steering tube.
Please use a torque wrench to retighten the bolts according to the following torque values:
Upper clamp: 12–14 Nm
Lower clamp: 13 Nm
2. Avoid over-tightening bolts, as this may crush the stanchions, cause deformation, or damage the bolts.
3. Our triple clamps are made of CNC-machined anodized aluminum, which is oxidation-resistant. However, long-term exposure to dirt, moisture, or salt can still cause corrosion.
Tip: After each ride, wipe the stanchions and clamps with a soft cloth. Avoid using strong acidic or alkaline cleaners.
4. If you find any cracks, deformation, or loose bolt holes after impacts or hard landings, please stop using the clamp and replace the damaged parts.
5. We recommend cleaning and re-greasing the headset bearings every 3–6 months.
Stiff steering, abnormal noise, or excessive play may indicate that the bearings are dry or loose.
